Ms. Aastha Tiwari is a distinguished professional who has been in academia for over five years, and is currently serving as a dedicated faculty member of law at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. Her commitment to advancing legal education is further exemplified by her role as the coordinator of the Centre for Information Communication Technology and law & Centre for Advanced Legal Studies, Training and Research at the University. A trailblazer in legal education, Ms. Tiwari introduced the first-ever course on “Artificial Intelligence and Law” at MNLU Mumbai. Not only this, she has actively engaged in legal research, presenting papers at national and international conferences and publishing extensively in high-quality indexed journals. Her expertise has also been recognized beyond academia, where she serves as a guest faculty at the State Police Academy, Khandala, and Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Currently, her research focus lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Crimes Against Women.
